Warm chocolate sauce made from cherry jelly-chocolate candies, served with fruit

A quick dessert fondue sauce made by melting cherry chocolate jelly candies, served with fresh fruit for dipping.

Ingredients

  • "Jelly in Chocolate" cherry candies 15 pcs
  • Heavy cream (33%) 100 ml
  • Milk 50 ml
  • Vanilla sugar 1 tsp
  • Apple 1 pc
  • Banana 1 pc

Method

  1. Slice the apple and banana for serving.
  2. Heat the cream with milk in a saucepan over low heat, without letting it boil.
  3. Add the candies to the hot cream and remove from the heat.
  4. Let sit for a couple of minutes for the candies to soften, then stir until smooth.
  5. Add the vanilla sugar and mix well.
  6. Pour the sauce into a fondue pot or a small bowl.
  7. Serve the sauce warm with sliced fruit for dipping.
