Rye Bread Toasts with Garlic and Cheese

Crispy hot toasts make a great snack with beer or dinner.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Thaw the bread at room temperature and cut into slices about 1 cm thick.
  2. Press the garlic and mix it with the sour cream.
  3. Spread the garlic sour cream over both sides of each bread slice.
  4. Grate the cheese coarsely and sprinkle it over the bread slices.
  5. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan and fry the toasts on both sides until golden and the cheese has melted.
  6. Sprinkle the finished toasts with finely chopped dill and serve hot.
