Khinkali in Broth with Mint

A traditional Georgian dish where khinkali is served hot in meat broth with aromatic fresh mint.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Bring the meat broth to a boil in a large pot
  2. Add chopped onion and crushed garlic to the broth
  3. Drop frozen khinkali into the hot broth
  4. Cook for 12-15 minutes until khinkali float to the surface and cook for another 2-3 minutes
  5. Finely chop fresh mint
  6. Season the broth with salt and pepper to taste
  7. Pour the broth with khinkali into bowls
  8. Sprinkle chopped mint on top before serving
