Baked Khinkali with Cheese

A hearty bake for a weekend lunch, turning khinkali into a hot dish with a golden crust.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Boil the khinkali in salted water for 5 minutes until half-cooked, then drain in a colander.
  2. Mix the sour cream, tomato paste and crushed garlic into a smooth sauce.
  3. Grease a baking dish with oil and arrange the khinkali in a single layer.
  4. Pour the sauce over the khinkali so it coats each one.
  5. Grate the hard cheese and sprinkle it evenly on top.
  6. Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C for 20 minutes until golden.
  7. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot straight from the dish.
