Salad with Borodinsky bread croutons, tomatoes and cucumber

A summer vegetable salad with crispy croutons, made in the warm season.

Ingredients

  • Frozen Borodinsky bread 200 g
  • Tomatoes 2 pcs
  • Fresh cucumber 1 pc
  • Onion 0.5 pc
  • Vegetable oil 4 tbsp
  • Wine vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Parsley 20 g

Method

  1. Thaw the bread, cut it into cubes and toast in the oven until crisp.
  2. Cut the tomatoes and cucumber into large cubes.
  3. Slice the onion into thin half-rings and lightly crush with your hands.
  4. Combine the vegetables, onion and croutons in a bowl.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk the oil with the vinegar and add salt to taste.
  6. Dress the salad with the mixture and toss well.
  7. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
