Pan-Fried Khinkali with Onion

A quick option for a weeknight dinner when you crave a crispy crust instead of broth inside.

Method

  1. Peel the onion and cut into half-rings.
  2. Heat a pan with half the oil and fry the onion until golden, then set aside on a plate.
  3. Add the remaining oil and arrange the frozen khinkali in a single layer.
  4. Fry over medium heat for 6–7 minutes on one side until golden brown.
  5. Flip, cover with a lid and fry for another 8–10 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Return the fried onion to the pan and toss with the khinkali.
  7. Season with salt, sprinkle with chopped dill and serve with sour cream.
