Boiled potato and porcini dumplings are pan-fried in a light creamy mushroom sauce — a quick everyday dinner.

Method

  1. Boil the dumplings in salted water until done, then drain.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onion until soft.
  3. Add the sliced button mushrooms and fry for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Pour in the cream, season with salt and pepper, and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Add the boiled dumplings to the pan with the sauce.
  6. Cook the dumplings in the sauce for 3-4 minutes, stirring gently.
  7. Serve sprinkled with chopped parsley.
